I am currently developing an implementation of an algorithm for iteratively solving large systems of linear equations using a reconfigurable computing platform. The purpose is to model propagation of seismic waves in the frequency domain as part of full-waveform inversion. The platform consists of a CPU connected to an FPGA accelerator and uses the paradigm of dataflow programming.

My poster at the 2014 Rice O&G HPC Workshop is titled "Accelerating an iterative Helmholtz solver with FPGAs."
